Popkorn Palace
One platform for running a small company and a personal life: invoicing with PDF output, clients, expenses, bank reconciliation, VAT and payroll; budgets, transactions, loans and salary; utilities; a journal with a calendar, log and meal planning; a photo library with a public photobook; a wallet of loyalty cards; and a travel tracker with a visa-day counter.
Privacy-first and self-hostable. Over 2,000 commits since February 2026, with a web app plus native iOS and Android clients.
01 Terminal Void
The design direction is brutalist and terminal-inspired, but deliberate. Huge condensed display type against small monospace. Pure monochrome, hairline borders, zero radius everywhere. Headings scramble into place like an airport departures board.
The only colour allowed is colour that means something — red, green, amber — and the user’s own photos. Every grey clears a written contrast floor, so the monochrome stays readable. The rule: every screen should look like someone with taste made a decision.
